The urban railway station “Gottesacker” in Dortmund/Germany is located between the carriageways of the multi-lane urban clearway B1. It essentially consists of a platform approximately 75 m long and an impressive roof. The central section of the platform is supported by a concrete bridge structure whereas the western and eastern ends of the platform rest on solid ground. A curved steel structure spans the approximately 75 m long platform in such a way that there is unrestricted access to the carriages along the long sides of the platform.
