The new canteen of the machine manufacturer Trumpf is housed in a two-storey building with a polygonal ground plan. Its concrete flat slabs are supported by concrete columns and concrete pillars. The roof structure is made of a primary load-bearing structure of wide-spanning steel girders that rest on seven pairs of pillars. In plan view the primary structure forms nine triangles. These triangles are covered by a gluelam structure.
