The new National Assembly Hall in Hanoi houses the parliament of Vietnam. As appropriate for the use, it’s a very generous and prestigious building with very high storeys, large spans and a high-profile fit-out. The envelope features a high-profile aluminium curtain wall with oversize operable louvers, special-structure multi-storey transparent lobby glazing, a very large glass skylight, bullet-proof areas, a large curved-glass conical dome above the plenum hall and vast use of natural stone cladding.
