The pavilion was to be built in the park of the German Museum of Art (KUM) in order to serve as exhibition pavilion for the German Museum of Architecture (DAM). It is an amorphous shape with a surface area of 270 m² and a volume of 908 m³. The surfaces are biaxially curved. The pavilion has an inner court and heights between 2.29 m and 6.48 m. It offers space for up to 200 people. Based on the architectural draft the climatic boundary conditions were examined first. Having completed shading and radiation studies, a climatic concept with optimized natural ventilation and shading was developed.
