Hall 3C NurembergMesse

The NürnbergMesse was expanded with an additional exhibition hall (Hall 3C) and a congress centre. As with Hall 3A from 2014, 3C was realised with a high sustainability standard and subsequently certified.

The trapezoidal building has a maximum length of 165 m (north facade) and a width of 84 m. It is designed as a steel structure whose construction freely spans the space between the transoms on the north edge and the south facade.

Highest Overall Value in DGNB Certification

As part of the hall structure, the timber-framed building along the north facade houses supply units, offices, toilet facilities, restaurants, etc. It was designed as a massive, three-storey building. It was built as a solid, three-storey reinforced concrete structure.

With a score of 90.5 per cent, Hall 3C Messe Nürnberg, designed by Zaha Hadid, achieves the highest overall score in a DGNB certification in 2019.
