„Little Hugo“ for AEB Headquarter

The BDA Baden-Württemberg has been awarding the Hugo Häring Prize for exemplary buildings since 1969. Our project “AEB Headquarters” in Stuttgart-Möhringen is one of 17 prize winners of the “Little Hugo”. We congratulate the architects Riehle+Assoziierte on this beautiful award and keep our fingers crossed for the next round of awards. 2021 will be the year in which the “Big Hugo” is awarded. The jury’s statement on the award-winning building reads as follows: “This headquarters building experiments with new, dynamic forms of work that are no longer linked only to physical spaces and rigid project groups. However, it also recognises that physical space continues to play a central role in the identity formation of a work culture. Spatial affiliations are being rethought and actively tested here”. Werner Sobek was responsible for the structural and façade engineering as well as MEP planning for this project. Further information is available here.
