Parametric Workflow – the Example of Kuwait International Airport
Eugen Chladny and Daniel Torakai from Werner Sobek Stuttgart are among the lecturers at this year’s Tekla forum. Their lecture focuses on the experience gained while working on Terminal 2 of Kuwait International Airport. By using the interface between Tekla (user-defined component) and Rhino (Grasshopper), a workflow tailored to the project could be established with the help of various calculation and evaluation tools (Sofistik and Excel with VBA), which substantially facilitated the calculation, evaluation and modelling of one of the largest composite and reinforced concrete structures in the world. More information on the conference may be found at teh following website: https://www.tekla.com/de/anwendertreffen-2019/vortragsbeschreibungen.
