On 19 February 2018, Baden-Wuerttemberg’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, presented a new location campaign: «FrachtkistenpostBW». This campaign aims to make Baden-Württemberg’s creative and economic strength internationally visible and tangible. In four German Centres in Mexico City, Moscow, Beijing and Singapore, it highlights the export strength of Germany’s southwest for over two years. At the heart of the campaign are walk-in freight crates designed as «adventure boxes»: The mobile showrooms offer information about Baden-Württemberg and present successful export products that stand for Baden-Württemberg’s economy. The exhibition includes a Steiff teddy, an endoscope by Karl Storz, a Stihl chainsaw, a Porsche model, a Mercedes star — and of course a structure engineered by Werner Sobek!
