On the site of a listed villa from 1921 in Stuttgart, a private underground garage and a terrace that can also be used as an outdoor pool were created according to plans by Werner Sobek.

Historic Preservation Meets Modernity with Multipurpose Use

The new terrace has a sunken floor in the central area, which means that the outdoor area can be used either as a flush terrace surface or as a swimming pool. In the non-movable terrace area there is a free-standing shower.

The underground garage and the associated driveway were integrated as discreetly as possible into the park-like overall layout.
