Werner Sobek developed an exhibition stand for the Mero company for Euroshop 2002. Its design was characterised by clear purism with a poetic touch. The essential element of the stand was a spatially curved shell over which a vacuum-stabilised film was applied on both sides.

Purist With a Poetic Touch

The deliberately created folds provided a specific texture to the surface. The translucency of the film used created a semi-transparent impression behind which objects were only dimly perceptible. The Mero stand could also be used as a projection surface under direct lighting.
