Audi Sales Center Munich

The Audi distribution centre in Munich has a floor plan of approx. 46 m x 26 m and extends over a height of approx. 17.50 m. The reinforced concrete structure has four floors above ground and a basement in some areas. Two-storey showrooms are located on the ground floor and on the 2nd floor. Since the floor space on the 1st and 3rd floors is limited to smaller ancillary areas, they are located in the west and east of the building respectively.

Curved Walls, Partly Dissolved into Columns

The terminal’s showrooms are bounded by reinforced concrete walls that are curved in plan and inclined in elevation. These curved walls are dissolved into columns in some areas. This creates galleries at the level of the mezzanine floors. Cantilevered walls on the 2nd and 3rd floors have created a two-storey, column-free corner of the building on the ground floor, which is completely glazed.
