Thanks to this concrete structure developed by Werner Sobek it was possible to cover large parts of the B14 highway leading through the very center of Stuttgart within a very short time. The structure is 84 m long and 24 m large and can be covered by trees and bushes. In a second stage the cover can be easily integrated into a new tunnel. The use of prefabricated elements of prestressed concrete reduces construction time to the absolute minimum.
